We•col•ogy Society is a local sustainable clothing and goods company focused on upcycling, minimalism and environmental awareness.
I developed a brand identity for the business, creating a versatile logo and contextualising the design with a moodboard as well as suggestions for use on business cards.
Inspiration for the designs stemmed from the typography often seen in French literature. The serif font alludes to old world knowledge and wisdom that maintains relevance today.
The minimal, clean contrast and graphic quality of the logo imbues optimism and a sense of forward thinking. The alternating color fills in the bullet dots of “We•col•ogy” subtly reference yin + yang.
The circular elements speak to the cyclical business model of We• col•ogy Society, built on curation of thrifted finds and forgotten furniture made anew.
